Mount Pleasant B&B - Long Newton (Stockton-on-Tees)

I took the Thursday up to travel to Barnsley and visit my Parents which enabled us to take the scenic rout up through the Cotswolds
and Peak District. We were able to travel all the way without going on the motorway - The beauty of satnav ;)

After I had taken this photo and put the camera away a woman in a car came round the bend
rubbernecking at the bike and us she lost control of the car and careered into the barrier.
She was unharmed and quickly carried on her way before I could get the camera out again...

Friday we got up and left for the meet and what would become a memorable weekend
in a very strange but friendly B&B (But that is another story...

Once everyone who was staying over night had arrived and the bikes parked safely there was nothing else to do but have a
few drinks and BBQ. It quite quickly became apparent who the Northerners and
Southerners were as the sun went in and with it any warmth...

Saturday was the ride day and we had planned a 200 mile round trip to the Lakes.
We were joined by two more Rockets from Manchester who rode across to join us for the day.
